A Little About Me.........

I am Fiona Catriona Kearney, a Scottish artist living and working in Easter Ross in the Highlands.

Having a happy upbringing in lovely Easter Ross has always been a major influence in my work. Initially I spent some years as a draftswoman and hydrographic cartographer however I had always wanted to be an artist so changed direction and went into further education to study art. I became a professional artist in the late 1980s. I enjoy painting a wide variety of subjects, from highly technical railway and transport art through the wonderful realms of fantasy and surreal to landscape, animal and bird paintings. I work mainly in oils and acrylics.
